Therapists Unchained doesn't run ads.
That's a choice.
I'm not going to hand this show's audience to BetterHelp or whoever else wants to buy the space, and if I ever do bring on a sponsor, it'll be one that actually belongs here, chosen with care, not sold to the highest bidder.
That choice has a cost.
Producing the podcast, the writing, and the resources takes real time and money, and right now it runs on mine. This tip jar is the honest alternative to ads: a way for the people who find this work valuable to help sustain it, so I can keep it independent and put more of myself into it rather than less.

Anthem Awards Entry Applications
Therapists Unchained has been entered for the Anthem Awards in two categories: Podcast Show and Thought Leader, both under Health.
The Anthem Awards is the Webby Awards’ benchmark for social impact work, recognizing brands, nonprofits, and individuals who are setting the standard for good worldwide.
I'm being upfront that this costs money to enter, and I'd rather ask openly than fold it into something else. But this isn't really about a trophy. Awards like these decide which voices get treated as credible, and right now the voices saying that mental health care is being consolidated, extracted from, and fragmented past the point of function are not the ones in the room. Recognition here is one way to change that, to put an independent, provider-centered argument in front of people who've been trained to dismiss it.
The Thought Leader entry makes a claim almost no one is naming out loud: that the fragmentation of our field, and the absence of any unified coalition, is exactly why we have low reimbursement and no seat where decisions get made. Each discipline silos off and protects its own corner, and that division is precisely what keeps us powerless. Naming that is the first step to changing it.
