Course Description
This course is designed for social workers and behavioral health clinicians interested in strengthening their advocacy practice. Participants will explore the foundational principles of advocacy, ethical considerations, grassroots campaigning, and inter-organizational collaboration. Using real-world case examples and data-driven strategies, this interactive training empowers clinicians to engage more effectively in the systems that shape behavioral healthcare.
Target Audience:
This course is developed for social work professionals seeking to strengthen their advocacy skills in clinical and policy settings. It is also appropriate for other licensed behavioral health providers—including professional counselors, marriage and family therapists, psychologists, and addiction specialists, whose licensing boards accept continuing education credits from an ASWB ACE-approved provider.
